NPCC Mass Camp 2008

Wooo-ha! :D Haha. Yet to blog about my NPCC Mass Camp 2008 5June till 7June.



Let me begin (:



1st-day [;
Yupp, a day started at around...8am when all the campers were to report and attendence taken. So on so forth. We had cheer-making session and guess what? Haha, the group names were decided to be elements. Haha. The group I was taken was called-Calcium! Haha, so chemistry like.



Haha, to continue with that, once cheers was done, we had ice-breaker games. Well, for all camps, obviously bonds aren't as close as it should be. I was being a mentor and the group members were :

Hongying
Eileen
George
Daniel
Hafizah
Fakheerah.
Haha so these were the 7people who I was with throughout the camp. Though I must say that it was a challenge to bond them together.



Day 1 was more of water games and station games. For wet activities, I was in-charge of the game called 'Boo-hoo'. Haha, interesting uuh? It's basically a test of reaction and how fast can you call out the person's name. The game could have been more fun and yeaah, I don't regret having that game though :) As for station games, it was 'LEGO'. Hmm, remember there is LEGO game that our student leader camp actually came about? When Gi's batch was planning for the camp, that LEGO like game. Yeaah, that game :) Just that, we had slightly less timing.



Ohhh, before day 1 was over, sentry duty was HELL xD haha because my duty was from 2-3am. Haha, it's retarded. Together with Jialing and my partner-Ridwan :DD Haha. It was greattttttt.



2nd-day [;
PT was, let's say, typical? Yeaah, usual scoldings like "Shout louder! Faster!" Haha. What else? That was the start and after that, the sec2s actually went for the hike. At Bukit Timah. Haha, along with Mr Collin Chia. Hahaha, lucky I didn't go otherwise, he will kill me. Haha. Understand what I mean yeaah? Haha. Anyway, meanwhile, sec1s had their lecture and the sec3s had to prepare for their campfire. Well, that was the whole morning all the way till lunch.



Oh, and also, lunch was field-cooking. As usual, UG group always has this. I wonder why NCC can have PACKED food -.- tsktsk.



The whole afternoon was Amazing Race! :D IC was Nigel and yeaah, my station was DUPER retarded. LOL! It's creating 5cheers. If you have existing cheers, it's counted. Man oh my, I almost fell asleep ZzZZ. Haha, but there was once cheer that really made me go nutty. Guess what? It's a cheer called, "P-eh HONG cheer". Which means hairless -.- A laughing gas indeed.



Night was dinner and campfire! :DD The long waited event! You could say that this was the highlight for the camp yeaah?



I shall not reveal the process but, it was definitely a awesome experience! :DDD



Ah huh, that leaves the sentry duty. This time around, this year's Mass Camp actually got groups to do sentry duties. Interesting uuh? Well, Nigel, Seri, Hidayah. Jamal and I was there all night till 5am T_T Imagine that? Haha. I woke up and slept and woke up and slept again -.- for about 6times cause there was 6groups on duty.



3rd-day [;
:((( It was the last day. I really missed it. Really. It was allll fun. Like SUPER! :D We were suppose to have sports game but ended up with Treasure Hunt due to weather change. Yeahhh, but turn out all well :)



Area Cleanup was all done and yeaah, camp was over like this! :)



Well, I must say that everyone in our working committee was all great! Awesome people! :DDD The camp was the last project for us, graduating batch of NPCC year 2008. Well, though there were the moments we got into trouble because of this fellow mate named-Kee Chun. Haha but it was ALL fun moments! (: Really. If I were to say one word for this camp, it should be...



Fun-loving-great-awesome-sentimental-pure-exhaustion.



Haha, okay thats MORE than one word but it's still one word ya know?



Well, I really will miss all my fellow peermates/squadmates. It's been 4four years together (getting sentimental now) Haha yeaaah. I really miss all of them. For all the joy and laughter they brought to us. Pain and muscles we've gained. Hhaha and unwanted troubles gotten because of Kee Chun. Haha.



Seri :
Well, she's a great chairman of my CCA. Really. I salute to her *salutes*. She really deserves my respect and I really thank her for her understanding during that period of time when I was heavily involved in Prefectorial Board and yeah, all in all, I was able to join in and have all the fun with her. Haha, during the camp, we plan the both activities and without her help, nothing was possible for me! :D



Hidayah :
She's a great working partner. Though everytime she don't know. Haha. She's always the one who can't make decision. She's the vice-camp-cord ya know? Haha. Well, she's someone who's also the anything kind. As long as she don't do things alone. Well, after all, she is my OBS mate too! :DD Haha. We've been through alot I must say :)



Jamal :
He's a anything guy! Haha. The logistics guy. Haha. He's really great at it. No doubt. He's like doing for a year odd. Haha. Ever since he took up the post in the Exco. Well, he's also a great companion. Really tough one. Though I must say I didn't know him back in sec1. It was all back anyway. Haha. Well, I enjoy being with him because when you need logistics, thats him! Haha xD



Kai Min :
He's a easy-going person. Well, all the jokes and stuff. He's not the bossy type and yeaah, no the one who gives command to people. Though he takes a squad. Haha, proves something yeaah? Haha. He has a sister in our NPCC too. This year sec1. Ya si and Ya Zhen. Both twins you know? Haha, well hopefully things go well for him and his sister in NPCC. Haha [[:



Qing Sheng :
He's always the one being late. Like super late. Always late for meetings. Never early. Haha. Well but during camp, he really came out with good ideas for games. There were last minutes changes and the games he suggest were all fun. Haha, if only he had put in more effort to plan for the games. Well, also a good person to play soccer. Haha. [x



Wee Kiat :
Well, he always want food. Haha, during the camp he was wanting for more food. Like food food and more food. Haha, but also another easy going person and always very playful, indeed. Heh. Well, all the joking and weird ideas also come from him. Haha, another cheerful person but all fun to be with :)



Ridwan :
Well, he's also another easy going person. Thanks for lending me soap to shower! Haha, he lend me his body foam otherwise I'll rot in camp. Haha. He's just a nice working mate in NPCC too. He can take squad and leads. He's always our timing since sec1. How great and noble yeaah? =D



Chia Min :
He was kinda lonely at the start but it turn out all just fine. Haha, he's the IT elite you know? At the same time, still do well for NPCC. Another nice working partner and no doubt he's also easy going. Not too bossy and stuff. Nice guy too. Great companion. Haha, thanks for helping me too during camp :)



Kee Chun :
He's a funny guy. Really! Now re-calling about him, makes me giggle. Haha, if you knew him, he's really one funn chap. Like serious. xD During camp he really did all the funny stuff and always got trouble with our CIs and seniors. All of us never fail to laugh over his silly jokes. Haha, likes to camp-whore and always ever so enthu too. Hah, thanks for the jokes too! :D



Nigel :
Vice chairman for our NPCC batch. Haha, he's one powerful guy man. He can really think of all the great way to save time and ways to get things done faster. I'm really glad we had him as our working partner. Also a very IT guy. He got a new cam and man am I shocked by the price. $1399. Haha, rich yeaah? Haha. Well, he's also in my class, blah blah. I'll put a stop here. Haha, thanks for him accompanying me during camp too! (((((:



Wei Hao :
Haha, he's one very 'on' guy. Anything you wanna do or need help, he'll be there to help you. I'm sure of it. Though sometimes he gets very rash and does things wrongly but generally a nice chap. Haha, during camp he fell just to help our juniors, how sweet yeaah? Haha, well thanks sir! Haha. He needs to be careful~ Though he can be very scary and might offend people too.




Kelly :
The last person to talk about! (: Our camp-cord for Mass Camp 2008. Haha! A guy that got work done. Whee and also a funny chap. Glad that the camp turn out all fine. Though we really went through alot in this camp, Kelly, I'm sure this is a very good memories and experience for us. There's still another one more waiting, Investiture. Well, he knows when to be serious and yeaah, thats why things went well. As least it didn't screw up [[[[[[[[[[=



Well, those were the 12 people that planned for the camp and 13 of us were together in this camp. Going through all the nonsense and fun stuff together =D Haha. I really will miss this camp. ALOT. It's really making me tear when things like this comes to an end. Haha =') I really will miss the batch of NCOs. Really. All the shiat we've been through.



Anyway, this is the end of today's post. History was fine for today though I was late =X Haha and there's Principal's house visiting tomorrow. Was post-poned from last Saturday till tomorrow. I'll cam-whore tomorrow and yeaah, take care, smile more and always! Also I received a email saying there's another ad. Haha, earning money ((: Haha. More pictures tomorrow! (:
