Do Singaporeans dress badly?

Do Singaporeans dress badly?

I believe that, I am the Casual type. I am those, who don't go all out to impress people with my dressings. Hahha, and I think it's important to dress comfortably and just be yourself.

Dressing with blink blink everywhere and even to the extend of revealing might not be comfortable to some. Thus, stay true to yourself man! :) If it's what you like, go ahead and just dress yourself up the way you want it to be! (also keeping in mind, knowing whats the proper attire!)

Well and yes, sometimes I also have this problem when flip flops do not suit my dressings. Like you know, everywhere you go, you'll see people wearing flip flops and it's understandable why because sometimes it's a hassle to wear covered shoes when the weather really kills (most of the time).

Well, but I still think that, wearing flip flops with certain attire won't match well. Like when you wear jeans, and formal wear, it's definitely better to wear covered shoes! Way much better. Otherwise it's like eating noodles using spoon, nothing but weird. Hahahha.

Though I have to agree that, sometimes, Singaporeans can dress better than people from other countries! :D

However, there's this thing about Singaporeans which I think we shouldn't do. Wearing PJs out to streets.

Hmmm, like for example, you wear a bathrobe out to the streets. What would people think?!?! It's like, total madness.

You might as well, just take a video of yourself in PJs or bathrobe and post in on Youtube. LOL! Wouldn't that make people realize your attire in a more faster, and quicker way? Hahaha. I mean, if you want to go to town area, wearing that, won't what I suggested make sense?

Oh, and here's some other examples of people, wearing PJs outside. I never and will not wear PJs out in the streets.

Blue boxers. Eh (?)

Red one (?)

South Park (?)

Nerdy Spongebob squarepants (?)

How about reddish/lurbelurbe Spongebob squarepants (?)

There's more to all these nonsense man. Still got Barney type, Playboy, and the list never ends....

I remembered once, when it appeared on the newspaper, when it was reported that a guy was wearing boxers and singlets around. Which is really -.- weirdddd.

Don't you feel it's really wrong, plus it also gives the wrong impression to tourists and children. Tourists might feel Singaporeans are very cheap and easy when going out. Especially if you're going out to places like town area. Places like Orchard Road, Plaza, and many other places!

Singapore might be our homeland, but it's not good to wear PJs out because it speaks the negative of Singapore to people. Also to children, and who knows next time, kids might want to follow the seemingly growing bad habit of Singaporeans.

The weather might be hot and all, but if you do wear PJs and stuff, you might invite the wrong attention where people might think you're trying to 'show off'. That's when people might stare and things can get real ugly. It's also a form of public disturbance eh?

For all you know, people will be thinking that; "Eh, why this person trying to act sexy wearing PJs out on the street?"

So, why invite all these unwanted troubles? Save the hassle, and just dress properly!

Maintain the healthy reputation that Singapore has, and also to portrait the right image for yourself! :)

In a nutshell, just dress properly, and avoid any unwanted nonsense. Do your part, and Singapore will be a better place to live in! :)

Remember: Dress decently, and be yourself! You can really can have fun dolling up yourself in the most simplest way!

Creativity has no boundaries!
